For the past 25 years, Carina has been working as a professional in the Financial Services Industry of which the past 12 years have been in Senior Management. She has vast experience in the development of people, mentoring of future leaders, structuring business, and building strong teams.

Throughout her career, she has been fortunate to have been exposed to many Leadership Development programs such as Strategic Women in Leadership, Investment in Excellence, and Leadership Circles. She holds a diploma in Executive Leadership from GIBS Business School. She is also a certified Image Consultant and Business Coach. She is the proud mother of a 14-year-old teen and an 11-year-old tween, and she is deeply aware of the challenges and peer pressure that children experience in their daily lives.

One of her key strengths is to see potential in others and to help grow them so they can realize that potential and experience success. She is a firm believer that all individuals are a work in progress and are alive with possibilities.

Being a senior leader in business, she often observes young women who have unfortunately not had strong mentors and female figures in their lives, nor were they empowered with the necessary tools and skills that girls need to become successful.

They have not been exposed to programs such as Girl-School where the seeds of Godly values and principles have been planted so that it can be nurtured throughout their lives. They lack self-confidence and have low self-esteem which is often an obstacle for them that they need to overcome in order to become successful and shine in their careers.

Becoming part of a concept like Girl-School has been a lifelong aspiration of Carina’s and presents her with a platform to do what she is most passionate about. To be a catalyst and play a small part in God’s plan for each of the girls and women who we will be privileged to meet through this journey. To help plant the seeds of self-love, and self-care and for girls to learn that they are BEAUTIFUL on the INside and the OUTside.
